Vouchers for a scooter trip can be purchased at the Freiburg office for € 30. Vouchers can also be sent by post once the amount has been transferred.Combined vouchers for scooter trips and Schauinslandbahn cable car journeys have not been available for years now. Nevertheless, upon presenting a scooter voucher at the valley cable car station the voucher holder is entitled to a reduced journey of € 7.50 instead of € 9.50.
Vouchers for the Schauinsland cable car can be bought at the VAG customer centre Pluspunkt, Salzstrasse 3 (at Bertoldsbrunnen), 79098 Freiburg, telephone +49 (7 61) 45 11-5 00, at the cable car station or on the internet in the VAG Online Shop
The quickest way to get a scooter voucher is to pop in and collect a voucher from the Freiburg office at Steiber Jewellery Store. Our vouchers are always in stock and are valid for 3 years from the date of issue. They can however be redeemed later.
The business office of the Downinsland Scooter Track (Rollerstrecke) and Schauinsland Mining Museum (Bergwerkmuseum)
can be found at the Steiber Jewellery Store at Oberlinden 16 (near Schwabentor, which as the upper town gate at Schlossberg is centrally located).
Opening times: Tue-Fri 10am-1pm and 2pm-6:30pm, Sat 10am-4pm, closed Mondays.
In high season it is best to phone in the afternoon.
If you wish to receive the voucher by post, it is necessary to transfer the amount of €30 prior to receiving the voucher, no charge is made for postage. It is vital to provide the exact postal address on the transfer form to enable us to send the voucher once payment has been received.
